If you wanted to hike around the whole of Ireland it would take around 40 days to walk the entire 900-km/500-mile trail.
At 500 kilometers, The Beara-Breifne Way is Ireland's longest walking trail and allows walkers to hike from Cork to Leitrim. Linking 10 counties and four provinces, the Way was the largest community-based project undertaken in the country.
When hiking in Ireland don't forget you will need your sun cream and your wet gear. Its important to bring water and wear lots of layers so that you can adjust to the changable weather.
